No problem. I will state that the book is one of the pricier ones FW puts out, but it's good quality from what I've seen with my copy, has a lot of interesting stuff in terms of background and paint schemes, and there are some neat things in there in terms of rules (slightly different FOC (recommended for games over a certain points level), and a recommendation to use the standard 40k FOC at games below that level) . I get tempted to start a legion army just about every time I look at it.

Plus it's go the rules for 4 of the Primarchs as well. By the end of the series we should have all the Primarchs, perhaps the Emperor, and the Daemon Primarch rules available. I'm eager to see what kind of a monster the Emperor is on the table.

So, if I understand this correctly, they can only be used as part of a Legion build? ...or could I just add this one unit (deathshroud termies) to my current CSM list?

They're specifically for use in a Death Guard legion. You can still use the models, but their actual rules are for legion use.

If you were playing a game with friends you could probably use them in a CSM list.
