I've recently come into some models that either have a broken chain on a flail or a staff head that's come off. I'm wonderig if you guys feel like they're actually repairable as they're either finecast or metal. I have been looking everywhere to find a replacement for them but I just don't see a way to fix them and smother the broken piece in glue is definitely not the answer. So dakka, I need some help! How do I fix these things it's driving me nuts!

Green stuff, or find suitable replacement I have had to make those kind of repairs myself and found gluing it to be the most effective way and make it look good with green stuff or file down the glue to make it smooth (usually a fine nail buffer from a women's fingernail kit works or a very fine sandpaper)

If you have enough room additional pinning will be better than just glue. Or it will just come off again later. Even a thin wire can strengthen a connection. Just drill carefully on metal models or the thinner drill bitz might break if you apply to much force.
Also you couldto look out for stronger bonding glues if you haven't already. The basic superglues might not be strong enough on smaller surfaces for a longer lasting bond.
