Ok so this is the first time I have created a DE list and wanted people Ideas on it, I find it as a good list that allows me to use strategy as well as gives me the tools to help me win a game without getting anything absurdly OP, I do not like the Wych cults (apart from Hellions and Reaver jet bikes, love the models), and I don't mind the Haemonculi covens but id prefer to have guys with armour rather than a army of Frankenstein's monsters (although I am open to the Idea to them since I really like the Idea and look of the models on them), and our group dose not use SC for casual games.

You got a great concept but I'd change a few things. I'd drop the Sabrite upgrade along with Ghostplate armour and Venom blade. It will give you some more points to work with and imo you shouldn't be getting to close with your Kabalite warriors because you got the cannon and the blaster so cc won't be your best option. I'd also go with a venom for the Incubi because it has more anti-troop fire power and you have enough anti-armour with the Ravagers. This is just my thoughts.

You can leave naked sybarites but i would drop blasters. IF you shoot at tanks you waste all poisoned shots and when you shoot at infantry blaster get wasted. Save some points and give weapons for scourges or make bigger incubi group.

Second dropping the syrabites. The only purpose they serve is an LD boost(and you will take a morale check if the thing explodes due to T3 and 5+ saves) but out in the open kabbies die quick...very quick, too quick for Ld to even matter.

Make each kabbie squad focused on something. For big squads of ten, troop killing is usually the way to go. Grab splinter racks on the raider, maybe a shuircannon. Blasters are better for 5 man squads in venoms.

A klaivex on the incubi is meh...your archon should be in the challenge anyways and the incubi themselves can do plenty of damage. Dropping the klaivex buys you another incubi. If you must have one, take onslaught for the extra oomph...but again, more incubi is better. Give their raider aethersails so they make it to combat.

Scourges need AT guns. Blasters or heat lances, both are good in different ways.


The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Archon is a bit fat, I like mine with a venom lade, shadow field and blaster generally. If you really want to run the HB trap archon I still advice a blaster as you can usually ID a character or finish a MC with it early from range and double your strength. Otherwise it's a fething blaster on your character why not? The kill he will almost always get with it on his way into combat more then makes up for the +1 attack.

I normally agree with your advice serling but few points I disagree with here. Sybarite is well worth the LD boost for 10 points, last thing you want is your squad legging it late game when objectives matter. I have had my 10 men survive their raider going boom more then a few times and the ld boost kept me in terrain to survive ie. the impact crater lol.

Also almost never buy AT for scourges, they should be run stock since they come with a shard carbine and you get no discount in the weapons trade. Leave the AT to the true born and ravagers.

Aside from that a solid list.

Also think about splinter racks on our warrior raiders. Since they are all full it'll improve you're poison firepower even more.
