For a competitive Tau list you would be advised to get in a riptide (or 3), from what you have though @1750 a quad gun is not sufficient AA, all your broadsides have interceptor but are still hitting planes on 6's, an etheral is very fragile so you'll be giving up slay the warlord in nearly every game! I also don't think you need to go above six fire warriors unless your maxing out the squads, 8 doesn't change the amount required to fall back

Ethereal will go with maybe a broadside squad.

Quad gun and 3 units of broadside will defiantly hurt flyers.

36 TL S7 shots and a quad gun will hurt.

I will think about the riptides, i used to include 2 instead of the suits, I might re take them. I will drop the fire warriors back to 4 squads of 6.

I dont play tau so this is just all i read about other people's lists.

I would consider more interceptor otherwise a Drop Pod army will cause you problems. You have plenty of skyfire, I don't know what Ceann Fire is on about there.. But no MLs seems a waste, it would also boost your AA if you're against flyer spam.

With FWs 6s 9s or 12s are the best bet. Personally I prefer 6s less of a liability in assault.

Riptides are awesome though not mandatory. They need ML support to be worth considering. But I think the Broadsides would also benefit from ML support, as would indeed the rest of your army.

I would wonder if plasma would be a better bet for the crisis teams as you already have 72 S7 shots from the Broadsides. Find them the points to get EWO on them and obliterate deepstriking marines and TEQs.

Riptide are good, but more importantly, I thin it would help your list to include some markerlights. Drop a unit of suits or better yet, broadsides, for 2-3 units of markerlights.

Thanks for everyone's advice what do you think this list look? Is it now competitive, i read that tau can be as competitive as eldar and necron but i seem many eldar (serpent) vs necron (wraithwing) but not seem many tau, I seen a triptide list in the battle reports.

Looking strong I would find the 10 points for EWO on the Riptides. It just bones deepstriking armies. Remember EWO is not only for AA!!

Otherwise it looks really strong now. 9 Missilesides and double Riptide is the best Tau can do without the bomb. Not many armies would like to face it.

Yes Farsight+Shadowsun+7 bodyguards and 14 drones is a powerhouse build. Known as the Farsight Bomb or sometimes these days shadowsight or farsun bomb. Or even Puretide council.
