I know this is going to be a long shot, but I am looking for bits to allow me to make the rest of my Immortals/Deathmark kit. I made my Deathmarks (love them, want more) but now I am considering adding Immortals to the mix, and would really like to use the bits I already own. The pieces I am looking for (legs, chest, and spine) are in high demand, likely for the exact reason that I am asking. I plan on buying another box at some point to boost my Deathmark numbers, but then I will have the same problem x2. I am new to the hobby, and thus don't have anything to really offer in trade (although I am getting pretty proficient at terrain building), but if anyone has/knows where to find these extra bits I would be insanely thankful for any info. I can get legs on ebay, but to get the chest and spines I have to buy the entire torso (which doesn't solve my problem) and would end up costing about the same as another full box. Thanks in advance everyone, and happy wargaming.
Sorry, I just realized that this thread should have gone elsewhere...I will be more attentive when I start my posts.

I tried looking for the same thing and ultimately just bought the bits off of eBay which, like you put it, allows me to just use the heads and guns and that's it. On eBay legs and torso sets are about $25 compared to the box that's $33.
A lot of people do the reverse though. They will buy boxes and put immortals together but then will use warrior bits to build deathmarks instead. They don't have the cool back torso look but they still function just the same.
Ultimately - good luck on finding the bits. They are in high demand just like other multi-part units.

Kinda figured that would be the case. Its about the same price as a box for me, because I have a local hobby shop that gives 35% off of 40k stuff that he orders for you making a box of immortals roughly $22. I think this is a bad move by GW. Sell me a kit that ONLY makes immortals, maybe make it $5 cheaper, and I would be happy to not waste bits. I may end up doing a conversion (doubt I will ever enter a tournament) but would rather keep it all legit if possible. Thanks for the info.

Well, you can use warrior legs and chests in a pinch. Takes some trimming to get the chest to fit. If you have greenstuff skills it can come out good, otherwise it is ok.
Need to trim the arm sockets too (before you stick it together is probably better!).
I did it to mine (and am doing some more shortly), but I mainly do 40k for playing, not the modelling aspect.

I have seen some excellent conversions with the warrior legs. Gonna have to try something, those unused bits are driving me crazy!

As a thought, why not use the bits to make crypteks? I've got some extra deathmarks heads somewhere. Pm me if you want them and I'll try and find them.

I wouldn't mind making Crypteks, but I would still need legs and chest pieces. The extra bits I have are tesla carbines, rear torso, and immortal heads.

True, but I was assuming that you at some point are going to acquire more warriors, as we were talking about conversions.
Thing about crypteks is that legs are optional if you want. You could (as an example) stick two backs together then use the last one as a flying disc - with a bit of imagination that could be really cool. *thinks of spare pieces*
Automatically Appended Next Post: Actually, I've got a spare dispersion shield if you want that.

I think you did it backwards.
Should have built the Immortals than kitbashed the Deathmarks.
To make the Deathmarks you just need to use all available Deathmark parts with Warrior legs and torso.
The shoulder guards wont line up to you'd have to greenstuff them or use another bit that looks good (Kroot shoulder guards).
The chests from the warriors will be a bit small but the guns will hide that.
A bit of pinning and green stuff in the spine to make them stand up straight.

Definitely correct. The kitbashed Deathmarks look much better than the immortals. I wasn't really thinking about it at first, had just started the hobby and knew I wanted Deathmarks in my army. Wasn't even really thinking about immortals. Now that I have a little experience I know the folly of my ways.
