Is there a point in running the Cobra T2 in my FLGS' 3000pt Apoc game in 3 weeks?

Was hoping to add the Scatter Laser for extra lulz. If it's still able to go 12" and fire Ordnance (6"for laserlock Scatter?), still able to ignore all fields, still able to ID non-vehicles, autoglance on 3-4 and autopen on 5-6 on vehicles, still use D-table for damage, still able to have 4+ invul fields, then maybe it's worth it?

On range, it a G48" or 72" ? Thought they got rid of Guess & such, does it Barrage? Is this all conjecture and pointlessness since the new IAA book will be out sometime, but not in time for my FLGS game?

Can't bring FW scratchbuilt to this one, and I actually have the resin model built! Hoping to run it, but am getting multiple simultaneous devastating rules conflicts on this thing... I've located my IA2, IA11 and IAA2 rulesets, but I'm still confused! Anybody care to clear up the specifics here for me, perhaps in a PM if need be? Thanks!

If you are asking if you should run it, that would be better suited for Tactics. If you are asking about rules, you'll need to clarify your question a bit.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

It's going to be over-powered at 3K. 10" Strength D....with re-rolls due to the scatter....is really nasty. Unless your opponents bring Strength D guns as well, I have a feeling they will ban it after just the 1st game.

Just use the old rules for it and convert the Structure points to hull points (i.e. 3 SP = 9 HP). Normally, until there are new rules out for a unit, you use the existing rules.
