Torture Victim in the Bowels of the Rock

I've been collecting and playing friendly basement games since around the middle of 4th edition but have recently gotten both mature enough and interested enough to begin doing a little more research than just looking at a codex or rulebook.. I've never played in a tournament, and most of my games have been 1v1. I've had a few 1v1v1 or 2v1 games and even a 5v1.. But, despite all of that and all the years i've been collecting I still feel fairly new to the hobby.
Dark Angels were always my first love and in my opinion have only gotten better.
I played Necrons in 4th and am a little lost when it comes to 5th and 6th ed rules for them, though I do have a brand new Necron player in my gaming group
I'm a huge fan of fluff and have just recently really started to explore the potential available through the novels and fiction online and in wikis
I've started a very small collection of Orks and have lol'd enough times to seriously condsidering expanding that collection..

Welcome, my friend. My first army was Dark Angels waaaay back in 2nd ed (in the freaking '80s...god, I'm old) and I have since moved on to Orks, because, well, I wanted a challenge. I've ended up with hundreds of models and lots of experience in scratchbuilding, kitbashing, and the like. Orks just rock and hardly anyone plays them. So, to you I say: ONE OF US! ONE OF US!

Anyone, more sanely, welcome to the forums. Have fun!
