Hi all
Been back to
40k working on my orks hoping to finally get WAAAGHH! Trog underway. Trog is my Badmoon warboss and this is the story of his obsession with all things that Dakka, boom and go krump.
First on my list ,barring the very small collection of boyz n grots that are already painted (pics one day), is the Dakka Biplane, Im going for a classic ww1 job here. I wanted to model it on the ww2 fairy swordfish with the grot gunner but that would suit a burns bomba rather than the Dakka jet.
So to start I wanted to move the wings down to the bottom of the fuselage and further forward, so I cut around the nice wing mounts provided by
GW like so:
After that I decided to assemble the fuselage and the lower wings to get a feel of how it would all fit together:
I then put wire through the lower fuselage to line the wings up:
Here we go with the wings lowered and moved forward:
More to follow later once the glue is drying
