Thank you, i built this list based on what i've seen him play, i've seen some hive guard, and i've seen him bring carnifexes with two pairs of devourers, and gargoyles.

I'm trying to bring alot of 6 plus strength to instakill his stuff, and large template weapons like the stranglethorn. The brood lord will have implant attack too.

Unfortunately I don't have a biovore But I plan on getting one, and won't the bonesword achieve a similar instant death effect?

I considered it, I agree with your logic due to the sheer number of shots, however the fleshborer has an AP value, whereas the devourers do not. Decisions.

That's true, an AP of 5 won't really matter when I have a Carnifex breathing down my guys' necks.

That's how I was going to run it, with Hive Commander, and looking on my list, it seems that I haven't designated a unit for it yet, so some devourer gaunts could be a good use.

Thanks to everyone who helped, the game went well and was fun, I got the doom out and he got up to 10 wounds, then was instakilled by hive guard.
