I recently got back into mini painting and action figure customizing and used to rely on washes to get my shading done form me. It look like in my time off GW has changed the paint line again and added some different types of mediums. I figured out that the washes have become shades but what exactly is a glaze? Is it just another type of wash or does it fill another role? Thanks in advance for the help.

I believe* it is an ink which gives a slight gloss finish. Unfortunately the GW website doesn't actually tell you what any of their paint products are and do, other than how awesome they are



*I've not used any of the "new" GW paint range.
