This is my attempt at my own Chapter colors. I went for green and BT iconography; sort of "hidden BT descendant chapter" kinda idea. I tend to jump between codexes (SMs, BTs, and DAs).

Any way, hope these pics turn out allright!

Here's the link to my gallery, I think the auto-adjusted pics may look better:

Very nice, I'd have no problem seeing them on a table

Is the green a metallic ? If so, I have to ask if it's "shop bought" or home-made (and what's your recipe ?) ?

Formerly 2/3 dark angel green, 1/3 mithril silver, black wash then a glossy varnish (my shortcut to avoid highlighting edges).
The problem now is that the new GW green is different... Closest I've gotten is with army painter angel green and a touch of yellow.

I'll see what I can do. Has anyone got tips to take pics? Would a regular camera be better? How about background? I like my display board but should I just go for a plain background? Black or white?

I appreciate the feedback.

Correction to the green recipe: with the new green I need to add a quite a bit of yellow to get the right tone, I'm using the old sunburst yellow, so I imagine that the new equivalent yellow has a lot more pigments. I'd shoot for something like this:

1/2 army painter angel green
1/4 mithril silver
1/4 sunburst yellow

I think these are higher than tabletop! Tabletop is generally IMHO 3 colors

Thank you! My next step will be to build a picture box, I feel my phone doesn't capture them very well.
