I did, i've tried several combinations, but only 1 resulted in the continued passing of the dirt block; however, the piston that pushes the formed cobblestone up to be pushed across the floor isn't working.

I honstly have lost interest in Minecraft recently, though I have gotten back in to starting a new single player game. Dunno, multi was fun, but I think I enjoy the peace and quiet of SP for now. Might come back in a later update if Notch adds in the Aether though.

I finally got into the server (my comp dies the day I got white-listed). Any good areas where there aren't alot of poeple, or where can't cause a huge ruckus?

I was burning out a few weeks ago too.
Downloaded better than wolves, made some fun machines like an automated tree farm, now I'm back

Does any one know how the mob farm in the sanctuary (The big cobble box one) works?
I want to build one on single player but I can't seem to work out how it works, and I didn't want to jump into it incase of creepers.

When I logged back in to the server, all the netherrack i was carrying had been turned to stone, and my diamond pickage and flintandsteel were missing?
I have NEVER seen something like that happen :(

raptor, there's like so many tutorials for those on youtube it's not funny.
Shrooms....it may actually be updatitus. I got hit with it as well on one of my old maps....like 1.4 I recall.

I have a tutorial for a piston mob trap raptor. Truth be told it takes a lot of pistons, and therefore a lot of resources to build, but its a pretty freakin cool mob trap.

Hi Shooms
I took a look at the logs and it was a server crash. If the server crashes and you haven't logged off & on in a while, your inventory (and location) gets reset back to the last time you logged on (so in this case the last time you logged on you were carrying stone, correct?). This is quite a bad bug in Minecraft (but it is in Beta), the best way to prevent it is to log off and back on whenever you pick up a lot of stuff (or something valuable) as this saves your inventory and position.
All this is in my FAQ, but I'll restore your diamond pick and flint & steel for you next time I see you online. I assume you can very easily aquire more netherrack :-)

Aah I see, I'll be sure to do that in the future. Thanks for the replacements, and yes, there is plenty more netherrack where that came from
