You know, on the server I used to frequent, (Perin's SMP, which was actually more of a Build server, since Creepers were nerfed) folks would tend to just scatter, and there are about fifteen different towns, with not nearly that many people living in them. Folks just up a move to a different town once they've finished a building.

Basically the edge of the world, looks sort of like the chunk errors and corrupts the save. Although theoretically to travel there from the center of the world would take about 13 years walking if I remember correctly.

Wasn't planning on going that far, but still not looking to have a short trip away. As I have no home and no mines, I'll most likely walk until I feel like I'm the only one out here, then give out my co-ordinates and start building a camp.

I can give you the coords if you want. It's something like -2000, -600.

There's even a spider dungeon near the exit!

No. Not even by the widest stretch of "safe".

There are shear cliffs, thin bridges spanning lava oceans patrolled by ghasts, narrow ledges where you might meet an extra-pushy pigman, and stretches of winding tunnels liberally speckled with either standing lava or drops into a larger lake of lava.

But it's a fun walk

I'm actually heading out on foot, I think I made it further then the map on the whitelist thread goes. Though its nice to see your continuing work on your skybridge

so i am trying to build a porticullis for my sand castle.

originally i thought this would be simple and just have a 2 high gate that opens up and down, unfortunately when the gate is retracted i cannot walk through. there is something with walking over fence that makes you not fit through.

so i have 2 options i can either use a different material (i dont think anything but fence would work with sandstone) or i find a way to make the gate move 3 blocks.

is there a way to stack pistons so that a block moves 2 spaces rather than one?

Just make it open to the sides instead? Fences are 1.5 tall so the base when retracted would still be like a halfblock.

Pistons can move other pistons, but only while unpowered making it a bit of a fuss to set up. Just have 2 pistons instead of one at the top, first pushes down the one attached to the door which pushes the door down when in place.

Yeah I saw his throne had been taken quite some time ago. Unfortunately it's so long ago we have no way of proving who did it. If Gooda is back, I can restore the missing materials to rebuild the throne.

Hey guys, Bane mentioned about exploring to build another town somewhere.

Well currently im at X -1821, Y 85 and Z -321. On the West(f 0) side of my hut theres a small area of water which could be filled with dirt or w/e to make a nice flat bit of land.
