I'm looking for a spring action shell eject rifle. Any recommendations? Is there a gas system that I can refill the cartridge myself?

This is the only shell-ejecting rifle I know of right now. The only problem is that it's sooo easy to lose the shells if you're actually planning on playing an airsoft match.

I'll ask around my airsoft buddies if they know of any others. Here's a gas-powered Winchester lever-action that's pretty awesome; a buddy of mine has one, and it's accurate, and pretty beastly. There's also a CO2-powered Nagant revolver...but the seals suck on it from what I've heard. Automatically Appended Next Post: With some further research and consulting, I also found a shell-ejecting M4 and a shell-ejecting Intervention...both are pretty expensive
There are several gas blow-back options for modern and WWII weapons, but they're not shell-ejecting. What are you looking for more specifically?

thanks mega. im not looking for anything fancy. its not for airsoft battle and more just for fun in the backyard. id like to go gas but i dont like the idea of having to replace or go get cartridges refilled. that m4 you linked is actually perfect but the price is a killer.

Id say dont bother with shell ejecting air guns, its just for show, mkaes em more $, and is just another thing to go wrong really.
get a real air rifle that is manually pumped, some can shoot in excess of 1200FPS if you just want to shoot in your back yard at targets (these are too powerful for airsoft)
if you really want airsoft, just get something accurate at a decent price and you are good to go,

Yeah, I'm with easysauce. If you're looking for something to plink around the backyard with, a pump bb/pellet gun might be better (depending on your location).
If you're looking at airsoft, any shell-ejecting gun will cost a pretty penny. I'd recommend going here and finding something you like. I wouldn't spend anything more than $150 for a starter AEG. That site has plenty of reasonably priced, entry-level airsoft guns...and they always have some kind of sale going lol. If you're wanting any other info, feel free to PM me.

I'm going to piggyback this thread and ask a question.of my own, if that's ok. See I've come into a wee bit of money and was thinking of getting into airsoft. Nothing top level but a good firearm and a couple hundred rounds. Can anyone recommend a good weapon for a beginner. Something inexpensive and easy to handle, preferably British based. Also, I've thought about it and decided that if I have change I might pick up a sidearm as well. As current I'm tied between a Colt M1911 and a Barreta M9.

Well, if you're wanting lower priced and easy to maintain/work on, you're looking at an M4/M16. You can get an L85 made by ICS or G&G, but they usually run $320-350 USD. I always recommend a G&G Combat Machine. Also, a Stag Arms M16/M4 is another good starter. Both G&G and Echo 1 make good entry level guns, and even nicer ones if you want to dump more money into it!
