Buying the games doesn't automatically mean you believe EA are actively being nice. I still think EA are a bunch of tossers, but I also want Sims 3, and this is a way I can get it without both spending £50 odd on the game and expansion, and without giving EA money. If origin is too bad for me to use, then oh well, I've honestly wasted more money on a bad sandwich.

Where did you read that I express my dislike towards people liking their games? I am simply opposed to any support for that company - which is my very personal opinion you are free to disagree with.
I'm just a bitter actuallynotsoold man now, maybe, after EA decided to ruin good games series on purpose.

So yeah. I bought it (I generally buy most of HBs).
I go and activate Dead Space on Steam. Seconds later I have my game.
I then go and try to activate Dead Space 3 on Origins.
15 minutes and still going. Sigh.......

Did you do it via 'Origin>Redeem Product Code'? Or 'Origin>Add Game...'? The former didn't work for me, but the latter way did.

Personally, I don't hate EA. I just... already have a number of those games anyway, and the only one that is in there that I don't have that I actually want is BF3. And I dunno if I really want another generic shooter at the moment anyway.

Played about 10mins of the Sims 3 after Origin threw a few hissy fits and finally installed it.
I hate the game, and happily uninstalled it and Origin.
