Hey there Dakka. I'm not the greatest with greenstuff so I was hoping that you guyhs could help me out with finding some items. I am looking for in no particular order items that can fit on bases to help along my joke army for 40k. The whole army is a ravenwing so there are a lot of bikes with not much room on the bases themselves to put stuff. Going to have to hang most of this on the bikes themselves.

The Items I need:

-Books. I know there are a couple I got with some DA bits, but they are huge and have a lot of iconagraphy. I was looking for something a bit less imposing.
-Sweets. Small items thinking like cakes cupcakes tiny candy that sort of thing.
-Apples. Looking for apples or buckets of apples could work also.
-Goggles. Looking for aviation themed goggles or similar ideas around that motif.
-Small Critters. I'm looking for small animals. Cats, rabbits, chickens, that sort of thing.

I figured you could guess what the army is after just seeing the list, but will post pictures of it as I finish the army. Any suggestions on these items would be a big help

Have you tried model railway shops or dolls house shops? It might be hard to find things in exactly the right scale, but if its a joke army you're probably not too welded to the correct scale.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I tried railway and nothing of note there. I haven't tried a doll shop. May poke around the one we have here and see

Check Victoria Miniatures for goggles.

For the rest do a search on Reaper minis.

This took me a couple of minutes via Google:

If you aren't that great at sculpting, practice! Make a convincing enough apple, try rolling a ball of GS in a ball (slightly out of shape would be better) and using a toothpick to make an indent on it, let it cure and paint it. To make goggles, use a piece of plastic tube and punch out two small GS discs and use a thin rope of GS to serve as the strap that holds them on the head. You might surprise yourself if you try, these things are relatively simple.

EDIT: Also found some goggles, http://victoriaminiatures.highwire.com/product/gas-mask-and-goggles-sprue
