Ive been thinking in a list involving all wings, with a great alpha strike and a good amount of models.

TROOPS
-tac squad x10. Plasmagun. Combiplasma. Drop pod: 200
-tac squad x10. Melta. Combimelta. Drop pod: 195
-tac squad x6. flamer. Combiflamer. Razorback with twinlinked las canon: 174

ELITE

The tactic is to deploy the Razorbacks behind a wall, and the Black knights moving forward. If I start I deploy in turn one the Libby with terminators with psychic shreek and casting prescience to one tactical squad that drops near them.
Ill deploy the dreadnought in the other flank to put pressure in the whole map.

If I start second, I just hide the razorbacks and the RW Blacknights.

The Razorbacks will move forward to capture objetives once the tanks are destroyed or heavy weapons.

Is your point calculation on the dread wrong?

From what I can read an vanilla dread is 100 pt + drop pod 35pt = 135pt

Then you have to pay 10pt for heavy flamer, and double heavy flamer does not seem to be possible.
I was wrong, double flamers are possible.
Is that a forge-world dreadnought or something?

Also, is there a reason why you take combi-weapons on your squad instead of heavy weapons?

Your tactical squads in the razorback will not likely get into CC, so are flamers really better than perhaps a MM, HB or PC? If you intend for them to sit on objectives, would not something with range be better than flamers?

Opps, you are right hehe. I forgot to plus the Heavy flamer of the cac weapon.

DA dreadnought can replace his multimelta for a twinlinked heavy flamer, so is actually valid to have both HF for 150 points. I eddited the list:

Cool, but what do you mean with double heavy flamer?

The dread can replace his MM with a twin-linked HF (but that is not same as double HF if you mean that is the same as 2 HF).

You can however give it a twin-linked HF + ML or twin-linked autocannon.

To make it clear, twin-linked does not mean you get two attacks, it just makes you able to reroll failed to hit.

Also if you take a 5 man squad, you can not take both a weapon (such as flamer) + heavy weapon (such as PC). You have to pick one of them.

I know that about the Dread man hehe.

That is my problem i want competitive but not extreme, i think PFGS are your friend since we are the only codex with them currently and because of that i am fielding as many as i can.

Yep but all the competitive lists that I see of DA involves the BoD.

I just wanted to try something else...maybe a better general could help me a bit
