They should release more Space Marine kits because people buy Space Marine kits because they release more Space Marine kits because people buy Space Marine kits because they release more Space Marine kits because people buy Space Marine kits because they release more Space Marine kits because people buy Space Marine kits because they release more Space Marine kits because people buy Space Marine kits because they release more Space Marine kits because people buy Space Marine kits because they release more Space Marine kits because people buy Space Marine kits because they release more Space Marine kits.

Also, I hear Vendettas are pretty strong in 6thEd as they were in 5thEd 40k. I'm sure that doesn't affect Forge World sales, but anyone know where I can get a Vendetta conversion kit as allies for my Space Marines?

Good to see Taros still up there, IMO the best of the FW books.

Surprised at the MkIV legion kit though - the Red Scorpion pack had been available for ages before that came out, and also is much better value; bodge in some mk6/mk7 legs and arms - which no one notices anyway - and a very simply conversion of cutting down a chaos backpack and you have something that looks just as good as the expensive FW version.

Suprised that the vendetta kit isn't higher on the list.

Though I do think the legion praetors deserve to be 1#, such fantastic models.

I know I accounted for 3 of those Kheres Assault Cannons they sold last month.
I can understand why some people might go the route of getting MKIV kits instead of the Red Scorpions kit. I myself went the Red Scorpions route for my legion army, but that's because I already had a Red Scorpions army to begin with.

On moon miranda.

I believe this is the first time.

It is interesting that none of the units that people seem to think are particularly "broken" appear on here. No Sabre platforms or Thudd Guns or the like, it's all either newly released (or re-released) books and Horus Heresy stuff, with the Vendetta kit being the notable exception (though not much of a surprise).

The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

The Vendetta is a joke to convert and has been out for quite some time.

That it is even on the list at all is interesting.

Again, I think with the Sabre Platforms/Thudd Guns, etc the models have been around for so long that most Guard players have accumulated at least one or two before they were "amazing".

No surprise that their heresy stuff is on top. It would be very interesting to see the number of units sold for each though

I'd expect players would still be get vendettas so they can spam them. And some people might be too lazy to convert/ Prefer the official parts.

Both that FW post and your comments have been interesting.

(Like what you said about the Vendetta conversions.)

Thing is, these are quite close to my recent purchases:

10) Legion MK IV Power Weapons

Yes, I bought a pack of these as well, to go with...

6) Legion Mk III Iron Armour

Instead of Mk IV, I Mk III for an Iron Warrior army. Everyone's in Mk III.

2) Emperor's Children Palatine Blades Squad

I didn't buy this yet, but seeking an excuse to, like for a Slaaneshi Kill Team or something.

1) Legion Praetors

Yeah, really want to get these 2 models, again just looking for a reason to.

Some people like the "proper" backpack and legs that come with the legion set. The legion set also has different leg and arm poses. Until the new tactical set is released, the legion sets are the only way to get a pair of arms that allows the marine to aim his weapon.
The only alternate source for mkiv style backpacks are the 2nd ed ones which are smaller and not as flat, the chaos ones are different.

What I'd love to know is how many heresy era marines they've sold and broken down by type. .

Automatically Appended Next Post:
To add though, converting mkvii legs to mkiv is easy. Cut off the round knees, cut some squarish ones out of card and glue them on. I suppose you could add a squarish groin guard too but changing the knees should suffice.
