I don't know if you can, but I suppose so, they do say you can use whatever extra abilities they have. I hadn't considered that.
@Hippesthippo
I misspoke, I was trying to get more than 18" away, I was only about 13" away with the flubbed roll. He was easily within charge range.
@Ansacs & Vet.Sarge Ryokai
Thanks! Yeah, I am really happy with how they are coming out, you should have seen what they looked like when they got to us, it was literally a pile of broken bits.
@Dalymiddleboro
I was crying for all of the starving children in Africa.
necron resiliency in game 2 was pretty nice So many guys got back up. Daemons still seem super strong. Would love to see Frankie's Daemons vs your Eldar !

Yeah, Cron troops look weak on paper but their power comes from being able to take down any vehicle in the game with glancing hits and from getting back up with LD10. They are deceptively good.
And we will definitely have top run the Daemons against the Eldar, that is a match up that I think a lot of folks will want to see. So far, my Eldar have only 2 losses, one of which was to Daemons who pretty much schooled me! haha
Sucks that you got beat there Reece... the crons can be quite a good army! and you were playing your cards right till the reserves pooped on your face. Now, you mentioned the tomb blades deepstriking... are they allowed to?
That would be good fun! Crons are a lot of fun to play if you take a funky combo list. Mine isn't that competitive but I really enjoy playing them.
@Skari
Actually, I don't think they can now that you mention it. It is weird, the book says "even if they arrive by deepstrike" but doesn't actually list that as a rule they have. If so, I goofed for sure.
And oh well that I lost, it's all good. I enjoy the challenge of playing the army.
