I'm pretty happy with my list, but I have one area I can't decide what to do with.

All things considered, and assuming the rest of the list seems good - would you rather field:

1 basic Wraithknight - 240

2 basic Wraith Lords (flamers and ghost glaives) - 250

A squadron of three dual SL War Walkers w/Holo - 265

If you don't mind, let me know why you chose one unit over the others.

I've had the list out once, with the Wraithknight. It did very well, but the WK was mostly a bullet magnet (which was not a bad thing). I'm thinking two running Wraithlords are about as much a threat, maybe more...but I lose the anti-vehicle shooting.

The War Walkers were sort of meant to be multirole AA and just more dakka...but with squadron rules being what they are, and the Walkers being made of Wraithpaper...I don't see them surviving long enough to earn their points back.

Thoughts?

Oh, and it's a mid-points list (1250) - that's why the Wraith units need to be stripped down.

Dual wraith lords are cool as they can be deployed separately and are as tough as the knight. You also gain extra attacks as they have 3 as standard, rather than just the 4 with the single knight. They do lack an initiative value however, and are less mobile as they aren't jump infantry. Personally I'd run the knight, and I'd want him to be a bullet magnet. But that depends on the rest of your army and what you're trying to protect. But it'll take a shed load of fire, and can more than make up for its points. Perhaps mount a star cannon so he's the same points as the other units but has a higher anti elite infantry capability.

War walkers with two SL's are horrendous, but they are weak, I'm not a fan as I don't think they have the staying power. Personal pref though, and being an iyanden player I'm wraith mad!

You sought to cower behind your walls, weakling? Instead, by the will of Khorne, you shall die behind them

War Walkers. All Day. Every Day. Exchange holofields with either ghostwalk or star engines for maximum mobility.

Well the Wraithknight is better than dual Wraithlords every time. However the comparison kind of stops there as the roles of a Wraithknight and Scatter Walkers are very different. What is the list and what do you need this unit to do exactly?

Basically, I want that last unit to have high killing potential, and be a significant distraction/fire magnet. Some of those options are more killy and less distracty, others - vice versa.

3 war walkers are generally the best option, but you already have a good amount of medium strenght weapons, which is wht they exel at. I would run either wraithknight or wraith lords.

I haven't run a Wraithknight yet, but I have kicked lots of tail with my Wraithlords. Take two of them with Bright Lances, and you have 2 S8 T8 anti-horde/anti-MC/anti-tank units.

Loaded Lords get expensive FAST, but yeah - I am totally taking them in that configuration once we get to higher point games.

Warwalkers, no holo and Bright Lances. If FW is allowed, use 2 Hornets with Pulse Lasers and Holofields 190 pts. "85 for 3. You will then get massive Anti Tank. Cheap.
