Those circles are just part of the Terminator armor, every models has them. They are probably something to do with the power plant for the armor and I usually paint them as lights, using the "gemstone" method.

Thanks for the feedback!

currently they grey one's brightest "highlight" is one drybrush with codex grey. Would you recommend to do some layering with it to give him a little more highlight?

If not, do you guys have any other idea of making him pop out a little bit more?

@ scootypuffjunior; oh ok i see, one good way to give them some more detail i guess!

Update: As I was painting my GKs, i found myself to not actually like my the color scheme at all, lol. So I went to read the codex again and came up with a new color scheme to represent the "shiny" warriors on the one hand and the mysterios psy-force they are on the other hand, as I dont like them to be too colorful.

Also I came up with a new method of painting my power-blades, props to Catattafish

Let me know what you think of 'em

Did you use a Wash on them ? it wouls help to give more deepness on the armor and the golden parts. The power weapons are great

i guess pictures with daylight instead of an old table lamp would give it more credit, lol =)

I like them. The weapon casings are a nice contrast and the power weapon effect are great.

I think the bases blend into the models a little bit though. Adding something to break up the grey would go a longway. Perhaps snow or rusted scrap metal.

Wow they are really crisp. I especially like the force weapons (doesn't everyone?)^^

Yes, you should take pics with a black background, the colors would be more apparent Just a black piece of fabric, and a table lamp could give very goods pics :

No offense right there, but the thread is about feedback for my minis, not about how to take pictures - thanks anyway, bud :O

I like how you did the power weapons. They look awesome with the lightning. I think the knights look a bit too grey for my personal tastes, but they look great nonetheless.
