Has anyone got a nice easy way to paint Blood Ravens?

To a character level. I paint them myself and while I haven't painted a squad of them this way (yet!) you can just skip the occassional highlight to glget it faster, although in my experiance, painting this way is relatively speedy. I paint a character level model from start to finish in approximately 10.5 hours in sessions of 1.5 hours a day for a week. That includes breaks for food, bathroom, menials and drying/mixing time.

Are you going to buy the transfers from Forge world? I think a well painted Blood Ravens army would look incredible, one of the best looking armies you can put on the tabletop, and one of the least seen. Good luck!

I would advise getting the FW transfer sheets. I only have experience with the one in question but they really do give you value for money. They pack the chapter insignia in groups, which are size categorised to match with various spots. Really tiny ones for Scouts, regular PA ones, slightly larger TDA versions, smaller vehicle's like Land Speeders and Dreadslnoughts have a group, then tank sized for Rhinos and Land Raiders, then 8 super sized for Apoc vehicles and such.

Then they have the squad insignias, enough tmfor a full battle company as well as veteran and terminator add ons, cas well as Iron Halo designs and skulls for HQs.

It really is worth the money. And £13.44 including shipping may seem steep but trust me it is well worth it.
