I just got some secondhand rhinos and... well... they need some work. There are gaps on the sides where the top meets the side panel all along the model. How's the best way to fix this? I tried yanking it apart and putting it back together but that only fixed so much. I tried filling it with this "Gap filling" glue I got and sanding it with some success. Would greenstuff work?

Depending on how big a gap it is, I've used either superglue with baking powder to fill in smaller gaps, then sand to finish. Otherwise milliput, or green stuff will work as well. It will take some work no matter what you use.

Another option is to make battle damage in those areas, if you are wanted to have a worn out look to them when you complete the model. Depending on where on the model it is, could have a hole down along the side/front or back, and it angles up/down to make it look like it was a shot that went through the rhino.

Just some ideas, hope that helps.

It's not a large gap and basically it's all along where the top part of the Rhino meets the sides. Parts of the top are higher than the sides meaning sanding won't work. Maybe I could greenstuff the edge?

Thanks for the flour tip, I'll try it.

Or cover the gap, e.g. with camo netting made from net bandage?
