Howdy ya'll, I've decided to take on my first green stuffing project and I'm going to turn my four AOBR terminators into Librarians. Here's to hoping that the next SM codex will let Libbies take power fists! (Less work for Mr. Lime)

Anyway, I have never seen a Librarian wearing his helmet. Surely Librarians didn't just throw their helmets away when they got the suits. I mean, it would be pretty stupid to leave your head exposed like that when you are wearing the best suit of armor the Imperium can make. Is it just a normal white helmet, a blue helmet or their chapter colors? Or is it one of those things where I can run with whatever I want since the studio fluff isn't clear on it?

In DoW mods, I've seen it be done in a few ways, but only in power armour. Also, white is the Ultramarines' 1st company heraldic colour, so it isn't the norm, per say. You could either do it in librarium blue or chapter colours I feel, or even personal heraldry should you wish. Ultimately, it's your model, so do what you want. I feel this goes under "fluff grey area", so do what you will.

I would *think* it would still be blue. By "normal white helmet", I'm assuming you've gone for Ultramarines - with them the white helmet is a mark of veterancy, but specifically being part of the 1st Company as well. Veterans that aren't actually in the 1st Company at the time have a white stripe instead (like Veteran Sergeants).

The thing is, the Librarium isn't in the usual Company structure so they don't follow company or squad markings at all. That means they won't have a white helmet, any more than they would have 3rd Company's white shoulder pad trims.

Of course, if you're NOT Ultramarines, then it all comes down to why your Termies have white helmets...

I am running Blood Ravens. For some reason, I could've sworn I saw a video on youtube of DoW gameplay where their Terminators had white helmets and I assumed that this was a feature all Space Marines had.

In that case, just normal ol' blue for their helmets? Gotcha.

It's invisible. All librarian models are wearing their helmets.

In seriousness, librarian armour is blue apart from one shoulderpad with the chapter sigil. So I would say the helmet should be blue... but really, do whatever you like, as long as it's clear he's a libby.

They have purple helmets.

Ah, now with Blood Ravens... I know two things. One is that they're not *completely* Codex compliant when it comes to colour schemes. The other is that the white helmets are again a mark of veterancy... *but* this might not be specific to the 1st Company as it is with Ultramarines. If that's the case their support organisations could in theory get it too.
