as this is my first post and stuff but anyways i was hoping some one could help me. So I'm starting any army using dark angles figures but the space marine codex there called doom angels and there color scheme is red and black with lots of sword blood and skull iconography. you tell the rank of some one in the chapter by the amount of black on the armor for example tactical marines are red with black knee and shoulder pads where as the chapter master is black with red shoulder and knee pads with captains and veterans some where in between. They work closly with the inquisition and i hope to make there chapter master give them preferred enemy against all things chaos. Please help i need help with ideas for the fluff and names for my characters. Please help and thanks in advance

Sounds cool! Perhaps they work specifically against chaos space marines, so they are some what of a fire to fight fire for the inquisition.

Perhaps looking to the blood angles rules would help you build out some nice special rules for your chapter.

Also if you include "Krug" somehow in the name of one of your chapter masters, I would owe your a round

In all seriousness Maybe look to the germanic language to give your army a bit of different fluff.. (as I believe most names are based of latin for space marines)

... Krug would still be a plus haha

I will definatly try krug as a name but my other idea was to use shakespearean (didn't) spell that right) started writing some fluff and started making the chapter masters profile then lost it in the depths of my messy desktop so with the help of my brother i re started thanks for the help but please keep the ideas flowing my brain is like not help at all Oh and i need a battle cry and a few quotes to make it look better if you have any ideas

So this is what I have its not great but its usable... for now


A 25th founding chapter the Doom Angels are a young, but they are mighty. A chapter created by the inquisition they specialize in hunting Chaos which is reflected in their battle cry “Crush the Chaos!” This chapter is based on the warp jump capable space station Guardian Of Hope. All three of the chapter’s battle barges dock at this station along with their support and drop ships. Their preferred tactic is a mechanized assault with tanks roaring toward the the opponents front line and then deploying troops into a medium range firefight with assault marines protecting them from assaults.



ya i need a new battle cry I will post some pictures of the color scheme soon hopefully
