So I have 105 of these bastards to paint, and the old lady said that she really wanted to learn how to paint. What better way to kill two birds with one stone?

Anyway, I hope you like the pics. They still have to be based but other than that they're finished. They were sprayed dark brown, drybrushed P3 Bootstrap Leather, skin painted P3 Necrotic Flesh, washed black, guns are sponge chipped Chainmail, and blood is Tamiya Clear Red.

I appreciate it. I taught her the techniques and she ran with it. She's a little slow but has pretty good brush control, and she's a fast learner.

Lol, the first definition's sentence is "my old lady coming over to give me a rub". Urban Dictionary is too funny sometimes. Look up "Alaskan pipeline" on Urban Dictionary.

Her painting is awesome, really good job! 105 of the is really a lot... which is why I just paint single pieces

Also the term "old lady" is common among motorcycle gangs like Hells Angels, so you just grow a beard and buy a Harley, then you're good to go

As a fellow who also got his girl into the hobby, good job! Now if you can keep her going at it (mine tends to only paint in spurts, followed by long periods of being "too busy")

I love these stories of someone picking up the brush for the first time and the results being outstanding. It makes me feel... belittled.

These are Mantic Miniatures' zombies. They have a set that contains bits for their Colonial Marines and Zombies. You can kitbash them, but extensive kitbashes require cutting them up, which is probably more trouble than it's worth if you have a ton to build.

Your girlfriend is officially your zombie painter...those look pretty darn good.
