Subject: Starter Packs points cost and upcoming stuff
I'm pretty sure that CB will deliver the Morat & Neoterra starter packs before the new wave of Sectorial Armies arrive.
That will take this range to 22 Starter Packs.. think about it...
If we include O-12 and the next wave of sectorial armies... this game will have like 45 different Starter Packs.

We can actually do the points cost for the Morat Aggression Force easily.
Going off of the concept art that we were given of the units from the MAF starter I get the following:

If you change the Sogarat to a "vanilla" Sogarat with Feuerbach and one of the Vanguard into a Lieutenant you get 3.5 SWC and 166 points.
We can't do that with the Neoterran Capitaline Army yet because the "Bolts"(the new NCA unit type; said to be a "Wildcat equivalent") have not had their profile released yet.

It's easy to see why they're moving blisters to combined boxes. They've got one massively growing game - at my FLGS it's getting near the size of the Warmachine section.

The starter packs have been drawing my eye. I almost never like the look of each of the six models, but two of them are effectively free. It seems like pretty good packaging to me.

Yes it's something that needs to be done. A FLGS local to me won't stock the game as the owner simply feels overwhelmed by the number of blisters (not helped by failure of Battletech and Dropzone, which has just sat on the shelf), but was pretty interested when I said that this change was taking place to the range.
