The Restrictions I Put On My Tallarn Lists:
- Missile Launchers are the only HW teams allowed in Infantry Squads.
- All units able to take the FW Desert Raider special rule, must take it in lists of 750 points or more.
- 1 unit of 10 Rough Riders is required for lists of 1000 points or more.
- 2 units of Mukaali Rough Riders are required for lists of 1000 points or more.
- No vehicles besides Chimera Armoured Transports and Hydra Flak Tank Batteries are allowed.
- Al'Rahem is required in lists of 1000 points or more.

Where are your slann and tetto going?

Were you planning on sitting them in the sauras block behind the skinks and kroxigars?


Its strong from a magic point of view, but if your opponent has archers and warmachines you'll be relying entirely on your 15 chameleon skinks and carnasaur lord to not die quickly.

If your opponent is running swarm, such as skaven or vampire counts, you dont have enough bodies to outlast em.

Slann goes in saurus, and Tetto in the skrox.

It seems good if you have the chaff to keep your opponent away, but this list doesn't.

I'd advise dropping the specials and reconsider the core. I.E. More bodies.

The problem with putting tetto in the skrox unit is he automatically gets placed in the second row and displaces one of your kroxigar. Meaning only 2 get to swing, unless you put one in your front row.

You dont have enough bodies to go double wide so its not a good idea to put him in with them.

But yeah, main thing is, you dont have enough bodies in your 2 blocks. 27-37 normal guys + command is were its at for blocks.

I love the Bastiladons, but 3?
I barely have enough power dice for 2, and I run the channel slaan.

thats the other issue. With a slann, and tetto, you really wont have enough power dice for 3 solor basties.

You'll be lucky if you can get off 1 spell with your mages and still shoot all 3.

Basties also die pretty easy to cannons, or greatweapon users.

That fact that they can die to cannons or great weapons does not make them bad....

150 points going down isn't the end of the world, plus cannons don't insta-kill monsters. They can misfire, miss, fail to wound, roll low on the Mulit-Wound roll. Cannons are amazing against monsters, but that doesn't justify not getting monsters.

Plus I just use 1 die each bound Bastiladon. *Shrug* Not really cutting into my power dice too badly.

march the blowpipe skinks straight up the middle to suicide stand and shoot the first chargers. Send the jav/shield skinks around the flanks to harrass, with quick to fire they can skirmish march around the sides and rear flanks of units tossing poison javs at stuff. Or kill stuff thats trying to get around your flanks.

The basties can march and fire their lazors at either warmachines or ethereal stuff or other monsters. with no mage competition, you can toss 2 dice apeice on em usually for guarenteed success.

The sauras block just deploys were its needed and goes after their big block or whatever it seems like it can kill reasonably well. also keep it close to the basties to protect them and gain the +1 init.

The Lizardstar of lords and heroes should be immediately charging the enemies nastiest targets. With movement 8 and swiftstride, they should get there quickly. The one magic weapon goes for any ethereal nasty while the vets go oneshot chariots and the potion with halberd chargest the thing with the highest toughness and hopefully takes it out in one turn.
If positioned correctly, you should be able to charmed shield the first cannon round coming at you as well.

A channel Slann barely gives you any more power dice, lol.

You only EVER use 1 die on that bound spell.
