Here is a list I am looking to tune for a competitive meta. All constructive criticism is appreciated with keeping in mind the following things:

1- Currently due to fluff I am writing for the army the only vehicles used will be drop pods.
2- Belial is a main stay in the list.

Tactics: Currently the idea is that the troops in the pods Combat squad with 3 guys with bolters, the lascannon and the plasma gun will deploy at game start to hold objectives or strategic points. The drop pods with Sgts then drop in to remove enemy soft units from the board. Belial and Friends come in turn 1 usually to make a big push at enemy HQ and elite units. The scouts act as a lockdown unit trying to keep troublesome infantry and jump troops pinned down or to remove them efficiently from range. The devastators start on the board and sit behind the Defense line to remove enemy vehicles from the board. Bikes are set for a hard and fast alpha strike on infantry type units and mostly serve as a distraction to my opponent.

You don't have your hq posted, also if your taking that many bikes compared to the 1 5 man unit of terminators I would just add azreal. Also im not sure but I thought if you were deepstriking something in a pod you can only combat squad after they have landed? Also you need some wounds on the devs so drop 1 special weapon or add a few bodies.

You can combat squad them before they drop. You dont have to put any members of the squad the pod was bought with in the pod.


Other then that one thing i would consider changing is dropping the power fists, everywhere. On the sgts who are coming in via the pod try using meltabombs and a combi melta if you want to pop tanks, also plasma pistols are not worth the points they cost. And imo I would never take powerfists on bikes, meltabombs yes. Those changes should free up enough points to upgrade belial to azrael and add a body or 2 to your dev squad(remember if you add azrael you will have 7 troops so you will have to drop one, the scouts). The scouts are EH to me. I love using scouts but honestly you could do a lot more with those points like maxing out your bike squads. Also I wouldnt run bikes without 2 special weapons. Outflanking and being able to move 12" with a 12" range melta gun means that anything within 24" of the board edge has a good chance of getting a penetrating hit. The terminators are a great distraction unit that if not dealt with will wreck face BUT a 5 man squad with only 1 hammer and shield will die quickly. Either 2 plasma cannon blasts kills 3 of the 5(thus making them not scary anymore) or they die to volume of shots which isnt hard to do when their are only 5 men in the squad.
