Since it came out i wanted one, so ive now finally made an excuse to buy 1, and possibly another later on down the line.
They will be my giants for a savage orc army since i hate the existing giant model.

Turned up today.
Cast was more than impressive, no bubbles, cracks, wek spots etc.
This thing is bloody huge!
Really didnt think it would be this big, but its fine.

So, just a quick starting post now, the whole thing is pinned and glued, and needs another drop of glue here and there to strengthen the joins (even its arms weigh a ton!)
So, this is where he's at so far:

And to really show off its size, here he is with one of my iron hands marines (who is a head height taller than a basic marine anyway!)

Now thats done, i need to re-glue a few joins, sand the base to start with and then i can spray him up ready for painting.
Should be interesting and different from my usual tau / daemons i paint.

Big guy is now based.
Waiting for it to dry and then i can get him sprayed up and undercoated.
I hate waiting -_-

Still having mixed thoughts though on colour.
Want to paint him a normal rock colour, but im getting tempted with the idea of a sandstone type colour aswell.

May have to get a 2nd one now so i can do both.

Cover the base with lots of [cork] rocks, so the idol looks it's emerging from the stone.

Might have to dig out some cork.
Dont want to go too over the top though since i want to keep the attention on the model.

Will it be holding "weapon"? (tree, tank turret, a dragon/monster by its tail, heck maybe even the SM statue......)

While its big enough to be holding the SM statue in its hands, its not all that fitting
Want to keep this one as it is for now.

The next one though, i plan on converting alot more.
Might just use this one as a tester and make 2 more for my army.

Want one focused on a magical look, so runes, feathers, possibly a staff of some sorts.
The other i want to be focused on CC, so more than likely a huge axe, some extra armour, maybe even a shield made from a wall or something similar.

This one though is just to get a feel for the model and see how it paints up
