This is my armies on parade board I'll be entering at a few upcoming tourneys.

"Extraction"

The story revolves around the extraction of an important Imperial astropath by my Mordian Iron Guard 4th Division supported by the Emperors finest Space Wolves.

Overall setup.






Despite taking heavy fire themselves, the Griffon and its crew support the extraction with well aimed mortar fire until the last moment.




The disciplined 4th form an orderly column to embark on their Chimera transport. Valuable supplies are not left behind.




Space Wolf Long Fangs occupy a makeshift forward defense barricade, keeping a watchful eye for long range foes.




Meanwhile Grey Hunters load valuable fuel supplies onboard a Rhino APC.




Mordian Command cheer as a Space Wolf Landspeeder zooms high overhead.




A second unit of Long Fangs keep a wary eye out as their Sergeant climbs a ladder to inform Command of the situation.




A second Mordian Platoon extract via a Valkyrie Gunship which has riskily landed behind the Mansion House. They take ammo and weapons with them.




Mordian Command calls in air support in the shape of a Vendetta Gunship and Space Wolf Landspeeder.




A Grey Hunter casts an eye over the ongoing Mordian extraction as his Wolf Pack stand guard.




Catachan Veterans seconded to the Mordian 4th desperately try and repair the tracks to a damaged Chimera under heavy fire.




A Space Wolf Landspeeder flies high overhead the Mansion, ready to engage any approaching enemies.

Yeah its a bit crowded I'll admit but the idea is that even with the discipline of the Mordians and SWs they're still under fire and have to do the best they can.

The board does look a bit crowded, but I have to give props to any fully painted army

Looks good. Nice to see some classic models in there as well.

The idea and cool "situations" make this a great post, I wish more people would do this, the whole point of the hobby is to bring in your imagination and create great scenes. Great job.
