So since neither chapter house studios or forgeworld make a Conversion Beamer anymore does anyone know where to find one or build one?

Ive seen the street lamps from the Cities of Death building kits used before. And this bit from the bastion kit might work as well. Ill post pictures in a sec.


Sorry for the poor quality, but that is the side of the antenna from the bastion kit. I used it as the beamer thing for my Shock Attack Gun model which is still in the works.

thanks for the quick response but Im trying to find something a bit smaller because i want to mount it either in my master of the forge hands or on his shoulder

Im sure if you took the front part of that and added some wire going to some generator bits you slap on his back you could get an interesting effect

Forgeworld do a mini of the astral Claws master of the forge that carries a conversion beamer

Just do what an Ork would. Get a few choice weapons/bits/rocks/etc and mash them together. If any one asks what it is just say "conversion beamer". If they question it further or kick up a stink then give them a good seeing to with something heavy.

Since there is no set look for the CB then it can look like anything. If i were to make one i'd start with a man portable lascannon and heavily modify it.



Also have you tried looking at 3rd party bitz companies? You might find something that you like the look of on Maxmini or Hasslefree or maybe even something from Anvil Industries.
