So im pretty new to orks and don't know all the fluff there is. I bought my first box of gretchin and I wasnt sure if they believe the same color kultur. I was thinking that maybe their runtherds equip them with some red fabric to make them move faster or paint part of their skin blue so that they are more lucky to not get shot and to hit or kill something. Also on a somewhat unrelated question, is deathworld forest a good color for the skin or does it look too muddy? Seeing as it used to be called gretchin green i thought that was an ideal color to use.

From what I've seen done, a lot of them tend to follow the scheme of whichever orc clan they're with. I don't think it's a personal choice per se on the grots, since orcs consider them to be expendable and largely annoying.

Obedient grots will enthusiastically copy anything their orky masters do, coz they don't know any better.

Uppity grots will also copy anything their orky masters do, in a vain effort to show they're just as good as orks.

However the Grot Revolutionary Front (and similar trouble makers) sneer at ork culture and stupid superstitions, and instead bravely work towards a brand new unique grot culture (with its very own stupid superstitions, but don't tell them that).

They follow the colours up to the point that the knock off work, get home to the missus and kids and slip into a three-piece suit and have their pre-snooze mug if coco.
