So, nother revamp for a tournament, decided to go enclaves all suits. Pretty self explanatory, the fusion blade commander goes with the plasma/fusion suits, the missile commander goes with the missile suits.

C&C appreciated!

The fusion blades are neat, but not something I would go out of my way to pick up. Also, TL a gun on BS5 might not be the best place to spend points. I like the list as a whole, but am not sure how I feel about the burst cannon suits. I get that you'd want to have a bit more dakka in an all-suit list though. d

I have used the fusion blade twice now and I must say, I thoroughly enjoy it. Nothing like having a TAU anything, beat the snot out of many special characters. The twin linking is obviously because I must have a twin linked fusion gun to run the blade, though it has helped once, with any one shot gun, even at BS5 it really sucks when you roll a 1 and really need it to hit.

The burst cannon suits are a must stay, those units put out so much firepower it is silly, I mean 43 points for a JsJ 8 shot crisis suit is just plain awesome.

I have actually been running a nasty nasty burst team.

Commander, 2x Burst Cannon, Drone Controller, 2xGun Drone
3x Crisis, 2xBurst Cannon, 2xGunDrone

338pts of pure Dakka in my FE army and fufills my mandatory HP/Troop Ally slot.

I usually add in an ECPA HBC Stim VT Riptide when I use my FE as allies and in my main FE army as well.

It just evaporates enemy units and the best part is it doesn't really require markerlights to be effective barring 2/3+Cover Save units.

Yeah I have run that unit before, tons of fun, soooo much S5 firepower its crazy.

I have also run the commander I like to call "Rain of Crows", commander with the works(double burst, drones controller, 2 gun drones), and stick him in a unit of 12 gun drones.

Now that unit is also fun, 36 S5 BS5 shots, 28 are twin linked and pin... basically 14 ablative wounds for your commander, simply hilarious

I've thought about running that unit, but its not scoring in my FE army and putting out that much Dakka with a bunch of Albative wounds and being scoring makes it a fun and good choice.

You should try and throw in talisman of arthas moloch, its not extremely expensive, can help multiple units and practically the best anti-psych deal in 40k

Guess I could lose two drones from the gun squads, and stick it in...

Nah the talisman is mediocre at best since the best psychic powers cannot be denied anyway.

Not a fan of the markers in the missile unit since drones in enclave suit units should be purely ablative wounds, since we can't afford to lose our 53 point models.

I don't know every psych power there is but I don't really understand how it's mediocre. Every target get's DTW against any targeted offensive spell and the talisman allows any units within 12" of the bearer to roll 4D6 dice... besides nova's, theres not many offensive powers that can not be denied

HQ
Commander, twin-linked fusion gun, fusion blade, plasma rifle 150
the extra plasma on this guy seems kinda wasted recommend you drop it and put Stim Injector and a shield Gen on him, im guessing your also tossing him in with one of the below crisis teams
Commander, x2 missile pods, drone controller, target lock, x2 marker drones 152

Troops
x2 crisis suits, x2 burst cannons, 2 gun drones, bonding: x1 shas'vre, drone controller 152
would be more effective to just not take the Shas'vre or the drones add another burst cannon suit
x2 crisis suits, x2 burst cannons, 2 gun drones, bonding: x1 shas'vre, drone controller 152
Same as above
x3 crisis suits: plasma rifle, fusion gun, target lock, bonding 174
your splitting your weapons here and it would be more effective to choose one or the other
x2 crisis suits: x2 missile launchers, target lock, bonding: 3 marker drones 152

Elites
Riptide, Ion accelerator, EWO, twin-linked SMS, 190
Riptide, Heavy burst cannon, EWO, skyfire, twin-linked SMS, earth caste array 235

Heavy Support
x2 Missilesides: EWO, bonding 142
i would run these in 3's

TOTAL: 1499

I didn't check the points after the changes but if you have enough you can add more suit teams into the mix.

If you did not notice, these are all blessing, which you cannot dtw. Hope that clears it up for you.

thank you, those are very common to roll for, but there are also many popular maledictions and witchfire attacks. There are a lot of powers people don't always get what they roll for.

I understand the changes, unfortunately since my suits are heavily converted, I dont think I would be able to get any more in time, including the broadsides, and I really do want a third one... just have to build it.

As for the plasma fusion guys, I originally was just going to go pure fusion, as their real purpose is to DS them and take out tanks, and allow the fusion blade commander to detach and go apes*&t on the enemy backfield. I guess Ill just make them dual fusion, makes more sense.

As well, the only real reason you would take the talisman is playing against flying circus and all that flickering fire nonsense
