I've just painted a Space Marine in this colour scheme, I'm sure it is familiar. Does this chapter exist in GW canon?

My first thought was Relictors, but they have black inset and grey helmet.

Grey with yellow helmet, silver aquilla.

Thanks!

the executioners. a successor chapter of the imperial fists

Perhaps they're "Scythes of the Emperor".

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Scythes are yellow bodies and black limbs.

Are they maybe Imperial Harbringers?

Imperial HArbingers are pretty gamn close, but i've gone for grey over metalic. Ive realised what i was going for is the Relictors SGT shown in the 5th ed Codex. I've just gone and fabricated the idea of a yellow helmet somewhere...

Bellow is the relictors SGT, and bellow that is a WIP of my paint scheme, reckon this is close enough to be an Alternate relictors scheme, or maybe i should go with whole new chapter?

Relictors looks close enough to me. If you showed me those on the table and then a pic from a codex, I wouldnt bat an eye with agreeing

Its a game, have fun. If you arent for some reason...find a new one.

Relictors don't have yellow helmets.

There is definatley some Reviler in there. I'm kinda set on classing them as Relictors for the fluff. And since GW can't get the piant scheme of the chapter right I don;t mind taking a few liberties. However The yellow helmet will be just to denote sgts, all the rest will be grey

Well, Relictors could have yellow helmets on their heavy support guys, similar to the blue helmets on Blood Angels Devastators or yellow helmets on Assault Martines. The paint template pictured has a Devastator shoulder pad anyway. I don't know if there's any fluff stating or disproving this, but you could homespin that fluff well enough.

I've almost painted the rest of my Davastator Squad, I'm "homespinning" the idea of yellow helmets on sgts, the normal troops are just grey all over with some yellow here and there to break it up. I'm really liking the look.

I don't think GW have a great deal on Relictors, so i'm just going with it. Looking forward to modeling some deamon weapons on the higher ups.
