Hey all im starting my daemons army here and am looking for alternative models to GW's fateweaver LOC and daemon princes. I just picked up an ultraforge "the vrock" as one of my lords of change though I would like another similarly sized model for a second LOC also I need a fateweaver and Daemon prince alternative, I havnt seen any that I have really liked, must have wings and be beefy in size like the vrock maybe not that big but must look awesome and menacing!

Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

PS: I know about the forgeworld one, I am not interested. (dont really like the model or the giant size or the price tag)

Well, as someone who has been shopping around for alternative daemon models for approaching a year, for a decent size LOC, if you know about the Vrock and don't like Hruddin (this was my choice, his wingspan is massive!) I'm afraid you're SOL.

I plan to grab a FW LOC when I have the funds, and hopefully persuade them to sell me an extra head so I can make it into a Fateweaver.

DP wise, I'm using the other Mierce birdman (he is more appropriate size for a DP) for one, Belakor from the GW Chaos Warrior line for another, but I'm as yet undecided on a third (I'm going for a set of twelve, three for each power)

How large is a GW DP compared to the vrock or in measurements? I dont mind the look of the new DP but not sure how large it is. Ultraforge has a decent DP model the one painted in red, but its not quite what im looking for either.

Ill take a look at that thread.

I believe the Vrock is mounted on a 60mm base, so is the GW DP, so you can see the Vrock is substantially larger than either the GW LOC or DP, there is less of a difference with the FW LoC, but they're all huge.

My Daemon collection started with Krull from Mierce as a Bloodthirster, so I've kept with a similar large scale for all the GDs. my princes are more of a variety of sizes, but they are all somewhere around the same size of the GW DP, give or take, and those that are on the smaller side I have/will base up accordingly to add some height.
