Those are the two chapters I really like I cant decide which chapter I want to base my space marine army off of, I love the concept and fluff of the Minotaurs, but I think the salamanders would be play better game wise. Considering if I play Minotaurs I will play Moloc I love his model too much and that's 235 pts right there.

I'm stubborn I'm a stickler for uniformity (active military) soo the whole idea of a half bronze half green army doesn't sit well with me, either all bronze or all green for me although ill take it into consideration.

Depends, do you want to be:

Minotaurs: Basically the High Lords of Terra and Inquisition attack dog?
Salamanders: Fire Lizard themed army that fights to protect the Imperium and its citizens?

Well, if I had plans to invest in FW extra equpiment I would choose Minotaurs. They have tons of cool FW stuff. Also, they are a bit more of a snowflake, beeing of the cursed founding and all.

My only other concern is that the minotaurs dont have there own chapter tactics soo if I was to choose them which would suit best I think the black templars but Im not sure.

what parent chapter do they come from?

FW said they are updating chapter tactics for Badab war guys, Minotaur parent chapter is unkown

Always, always, ALWAYS play a home brew chapter, or failing that an obscure one.

Sooner or later GW will roll out a new toy the Salis can't get, or change their fluff or color scheme (like they did wiht the African skin->mutant monster skin) or do something else.

With a home made chapter you have the freedom to pick and choose your codex, your paint scheme etc.

Yes, agreed with above. Make your own chapter! Failing that, Minotaurs. Mainly because being a snowflake is cool. There are waaaaaaaaay too many players as founding chapters. Be cool. Be unique.

Well I think I decided on Minotaurs I love there mysterious nature and Asterion is just too awesome a model I ordered some good bits from puppetswar, kromlech, and anvil Industries, ill post pics ass soon as I get one painted up.
