Here is some samples of my Death Strike Space Marines in progress. The variation in blue is slightly because of the different lightning and because of the new blue wash GW made. Feel free to judge.
Thanks ids1984, yes they are done. But the seem to get so dark on the photos. They are more contrasting IRl actually. Can't really make the photos justify it. I could go a bit brighter as you say though. i think its my habbit of washing the eyes that darken them alot.
Thanks mate, well tips for the banner is.. hmm, well I don't know. Just try to keep it clean if you can. I didn't do any overly complicated thing with mine. I guess try to keep it at the level you feel comfortable with to make it good and always try to sketch some before so that you have something to go after.
I blended the background first and worked my way up in the detail afterwards.
