Hello everyone. I am Tylerion. My wife and I have been getting into 40k recently, and I came across this forum, which seems very active and full of great info, so I decided to join up. Since this is an introduction thread, here is a bit of info about us.

I am in my early 30's, working in the IT support industry. My wife is in her late 20's, working in the education industry. We are both pretty hardcore nerds, and when we came across 40k, we were both pretty much immediately interested in it.

We are each working on two armies. I started with Tyranids and she started with the Chaos Demons. Then, we came across a pretty incredible deal on the Dark Vengeance set, and since we still needed the full rulebook, we jumped on it. So now I am also doing the Dark Angels and she is doing the Chaos Space Marines. Neither of us are remotely what you would call professional painters, but I am pretty thrilled with the results we have both had. I soon hope to start one of the "Painting & Modelling" blogs in that forum section. (I've been lurking here for a few weeks at least, so I've learned a bit about what all is going on here.)

I doubt my wife will join up under her own user name, but as long there are no rules against it, I will do a blog featuring both of our armies.

Well, that's that for now I suppose. Looking forward to getting into this forum and into 40k as well!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
