I read very little but I know I love this character, I will defiantly be getting a model of him and use him as a chaos lord, has anyone got a model of this character, I seen one on The Game Workshop website, but it isn't all too clear and only shows the front. I also want to know how you painted it, it looks a bit harder than your normal space marine or chaos space marine.
Actually, it should be softer - due to the bathrobe he wears over his power armour - brazenly disregarding the NO CAPES! rule.
I have the model, but have not painted him yet. The GW picture shows him quite well, but uses a good paintjob to work around the fact that this is a quite old metal model without as much detail as newer figures.
Hit up google image search, I found tons of hits with "warhammer cypher".
You could probably make a much nicer version of him by kitbashing using Dark Angels, SM and Chaos Plastic kits.

Cypher is actually a good guy, who knows that if the Emperor dies he will be reincarnated and Humanity will go through another golden age of technology and expansion. This is why he is slowly heading to Terra to kill da emprah.
-not cypher
ps the Dark Angels are really all heretics who are killing "the fallen" to cover up that they fought against the Emperor during the Horus Heresy
If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!
He wouldn't take much more effort to paint than a Chaos Marine or Marine sergeant. He's a character model, but from a time when models weren't quite so overladen with details like they are now.
On the first page of "Cypher the Fallen Angel" I got a decent all around view from Cool Mini or Not:
