I've just come across this French company via a post by Malebolgia on Frothers
http://www.figone.fr/en/
Haân Sculpted by Alan Carrasco (70mm High)
Haân looked around anxiously, striding quickly in the night's shade. The savannah was loud in its silence.
Never could he have imagined walking this way, eyes gaping in fear.
Haân walked for many days, many nights. Hunger and thirst gnawing at him.
He finally recognized the silhouettes of the great protecting baobab; he discovered the noble red-spotted foliage of the centennial acacia.
Aahl's cabin was opening its doors to him.
Aahl sculpted by Alan Carrasco (68mm high)
Aahl the Haruspex built his square hut in Mbalang near the large protecting baobab, under the light shade of an ever-flowering acacia tree. The frescoes adorning the hut's entrance and the sculpted columns leading to it depict animals, fruits, and flowers from the country.
Aahl the Aethiopicus is the son of Bolio, yet he doesn't have a corkscrew tail.
Aahl the Marabout is a great sorcerer. Such is his renown that visitors come from all over the country, even from regions several days' walk away.
The local healer was jealous of losing his initiates to Aahl the Sorcerer. Seeing the wait line in front of Inah's hut so long that everybody had time to admire the detailed scenes on the columns, the healer immediately gave him the nickname Aahl ligned in a single file.
Nathaliel, Prince Dragon Elfe
Nathaniel, with the tip of his sword, pointed the top of the hill.
Pale and cold, no hint of his thoughts showed.
No anger, as a high elf feels no emotion.
No tears, as an eflin prince only cries once; pearls redder than rubies, purer and harder than crystallized carbon; tears of bloodied stones, so sharp that he loses his sight; Sanguine diamonds.
Keep an eye on the size/scale before ordering, as there is a fair bit of 54mm (some of which may be suitable as giants etc, but some won't be so check before buying)
They apparently stock a range of other boutique stuff and with fixed postage of 4 Euro (or free on orders over 99 Euros) it might be worth looking at as a supplier depending on where you live
(I've ordered Haan as a birthday treat for me as he looks like he'll fit in well with my Darklands KS stuffso will post how it looks when it arrives and how the delivery goes postage will be set to happen on the 27th Sept)
Or just take a look at some of the paint jobs, the Elf is pretty spectacular, and is shown in much more detail on site

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

That's a fantastic looking model... what is the base size?
26 euros feels a little steep, but still tempting!

I got my Hippo-man that I said I'd ordered earlier in the thead though the post today.
I'll take some pictures of the bits and do a proper review later (to tired tonight, and the camera needs charging) but here are some early thoughts
Delivery time:
Figone only post every 2 weeks (and they show on the site when the next dates are). The posted when they said they would and it took 9 days to get from France to the UK so I'll give them a thumbs up
Casting quality
This (at first glance) looks very good, but I'll be able to tell you more after I've done cleanup and assembly
Sculpt quality
Excellent, just as good as the pictures led me to expect, (and in a few more pieces than I was expecting too allowing more detail). I'll be able to talk about the fit later when I've hand a chance to build him
The only potential negative was the packaging, The mini was sent in a Ziploc bag in a padded envelope with no other protection.
This is a chunky bit of resin and came through the post without any damage, but IF they do the same with some of their other stuff (they may not) i'd be a bit worried about delicate bits breaking
Overall very happy with the mini and the service provided by Figone

OK here's the photo of the hippo-man parts the parts have really good post/tab fixings for the arms so getting it assembled will be easy being sculpted by Alan Carrusco Hippo-man is a real man with all his 'man bits' (no don't get too offended that's a casting tab between his legs, the bit in question is on the reverse side of the loincloth) so if you want to 'protect the children' you'll need to do a bit of knife work to remove it or add a bit of greenstuff to cover it up having had a chance to inspect the casting in detail I can say it's fantastic the only hint of flash/mould lines being in the very fiddly small detail on the shell staff, everything else is immaculate. So overall if you've got the cash to splash (he's not cheap, but he is big and great quality) and fancy a really substantial hippo-man I'd recommend this without hesitation EDIT: Oh and I just realised he's got 3 fingers (not 4) and a thumb

After their successful Indiegogo for Rocco Figone are busy casting him up but while we wait for that they've got a new release Captain Sapo leads the Sewerworker Brigade with his palmed hand. He's torn between the ambient darkness of the tubes and the greasy aroma of the machines which dot the small isolated rooms, like abandoned isles. The water leaks in the various underground tunnels, the diffuse light of the torches barely piercing the confined air. Only Team Frog is at ease in this element, like a tadpole in muck. On this Fall morning, captain Sapo, a wry smile on his lips, gathered his troops for a new fumes-clearing mission in the DesTop-12 zone. It'll be a gas!" Bust by Alan Carrasco, text by Yannick Degiovanni they've also added the consortium range of minis to their website http://www.figone.fr/category/consortium/ for example

Do people buy FigOne's models only direct through their website, or through somewhere else?
I'll be after a pair of Canopic Beasts at some point, but am wondering where is best to order them.

I've bought from them direct and haven't seen the Figone ones offered elsewhere (but I've not really looked)
a lot of the other range on the site are from other boutique sculptors/ranges and can be found elsewhere
The Canoptic Beast is from Smart Max's SMOG range and you can get them from CMON in the USA so you probably need to compare prices/shipping
Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh also worth keeping this in mind if you shop direct with Figone
"•Jérémie dispatches orders at least once every two weeks. Please accept his apologies for any delays but he lives 5 km from the nearest post office has no car and makes his deliveries by bike."
It's always made clear when I order but depending on when you order you might have to wait up to a couple of weeks longer than a 'standard' webstore

Thanks drazz, although I don't see the model I am looking for (and the sale is quite small).
I was just concerned about ordering from FigOne because they only list a shipping charge of 4 euros when I put the model in my cart. Has anyone in the US successfully ordered from them?

I took the plunge and tried it direct, will post up how the experience goes. There was a note in the email that they only ship once every 2 weeks due to the distance to the post, so it might be a little longer depending on where my order is in that cycle.
