As the post states I am returning to 40k after a break of about 2-3 years of none consistent play. My only other army is Tau and I have wanted to start a new army to help me get back into the game. Necrons seem to fit the bill just right after the update because back when I started they were severely hurting for a big change and now that they got one, they have caught my eye. I am looking to start from the battleforce and with a few spare models I got of a friend.

All and all this should come out to be 987 points with hopefully a well rounded start so that I can handle my own against most opponents at 1000 points.

That list is solid.

If you haven't built the warriors yet, use 5 of the legs and chests and make the deathmarks as well. They are nasty.
