My idea here is to run Huron as my warlord, and give some of my units infiltrate and use that to get my zombies in up close, possibly assaulting with them on turn 2. (or at least making him drop his troops back. Should take about 70 hits (using average chances for them to hit/wound on a bolter shot) Predators for long range anti-vehicle support against both armies, popping wave serpents and/or shooting down riptides etc...

Heldrakes can drop in and vector strike/baleflamer some stuff, assuming they survive skyfire/interceptor shots. ((i'm pretty much the only one running flying units so I always count on them taking anti-flyer stuff...

plague marines for holding objectives.

I think that if I play against Tau w/ space marines he's going to build a markerlight horde, or possibly use minimal tau and try to play with the new SM codex.

If I play the elder guy I think he normally runs farseers council or whatever it is called and lots of ethereals and such.

I played another Eldar guy yesterday with a different list, and though we had to call it early, I think I had him tabled by the time we hit the bottom of Turn 5. ((Though he plays an Eldrad list w/ tau allies.)

Alright, with that we can start some advice
-Don't attack Riptides, it just isn't worth it. They take too much to put down and you almost always have better targets.
-I'd give your plague marines some special weapons. Plasma I see being pretty popular but I'm always a fan of meltaguns.

Past that I can't give much advice. My CSM experience is pretty lacking. Hope that this helps though.

So,

The list above was copied and pasted from Army Builder's PDF output, And I realize that some people may not need the added detail, however, even playing with a group of friends that have been playing for years, I still find it useful to have as much detail as possible. It's not intended to insult your intelligence or anything like that, but rather, to give those who are a little less experienced with CSM, but may have some good thoughts on tactics the info they may need to see some additional info.

With regards to your suggestions, I hadn't really thought about ignoring riptides, but I'm curious as to what you would consider Target priority when facing Eldar w/ Tau allies?

My last game with Eldar/Tau went favorably for me, but mostly because I used a list I am comfortable with, and I got a psychic shriek on a wraithknight that reduced him to 1 wound on the turn I charged him with a nurgle lord on a bike, with an accompanying nurgle sorcerer, and a full squad of nurgle chaos spawn.

Other than that, my Predators made pretty quick work of his quad gun, and some of his wave serpents, leaving 1 of my 2 heldrakes open to vesctor strike/baleflamer at will. The other one having been shot down by his riptide.
