Mainly two questions

#1 What special weapon? I like melta because it's cheaper and safer than plasma and counters AV14.
#2 Apothecary worth taking instead of another gun?

I guess it's a question of how much of your opponent's shooting having feel no pain will tie up. the unit's probably toast either way, especially with the low model count. but they might weather more than one unit's shooting with the apothecary, which could be worth the points.

as for specials, much like sternguard, it depends on what you expect them to do.

I figured a Command Squad was cheaper for spamming specials then Sternguard and you get more shots.

oh, totally. my only point was that you have to give the same thought to kitting out a dropped command squad as you would a dropped 5-man sternguard squad: what do you want that squad to kill? select specials that supports that goal. everyone's shooting at the same target, so mixing and matching specials is probably sub-optimal.

another thought: since they're highly likely to be dead on the following turn, combis might be a better value points-wise.
