Since they don't put scales on the models, soea anyone have any idea as to whether the Revell Star Wars models are anywhere close to scale to 40k models? I know there are the traditional models and the SnapTites, so if anyone has any of these and they look close to scale, let me know. I want to build some wreckage scenery.

Depends on the line and release.
Their scales are all over the place.
Some are 1/72 scale (20mm or so - too small for 40k), some are smaller than that and some are larger.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

The larger ones like the Obi-Wab Starfighter Easikit are fine. The scale is about 1/35.

A DakkaDakka member did a nice conversion of this kit into an Ornithopter for his Dune counts as IG army.

The Pocket kits are too small.

Some of the large vehicles like Millenium Falcon and Slave-1, are large enough to be useable although their actual scale is 1/72.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

The Clone Wars AAT tank and the Republic Gunship seem close enough, many others are too small.
