My attempt at a competitive Take all corners list for Tournament play

Warboss attaches to the deffkoptas and scouts, first turn leaves the group and speeds to engage something expensive. Deffkoptas meanwhile try and take out high threat targets, and to give the rest of the boyz time to move up the field while the opponents attention is divided.
Weirdboy attached to the 'ard Boyz, 'ere we go and Waagh are awesome, most others are pretty benificial. The 'ard Boyz are meant to to use as much cover as possible and get up the field to either sit on an objective, engage anything that gets close or sit on an objective, and with 'ere we go they can threaten something interesting
The rest of the boyz are meant to sweep out and force his troops + vehicles together, or fall back against templates and try to whittle them down with fire.
Dakkajets are wildcards and kannons are meant to threaten and harass with the lobba for HQ or high threat troops
Lootas for AA or high threat targets (and usually just to GTG and draw a lot of fire )

ok why ard boyz? they are bad and they cost too much.
why the warboss get a mek with kff for greentide. stikebombs? ur i2 sir.
split a squad of ur lootas into 2 of 5x
and i think the scouting thing has been faq to were you cant do that. idk for sure though
also flyboss on a dakkajet is not really worth it a whole bunch.

Up to now my 'ard Boyz have been really making up for their point cost, since the high amount of Ignore cover and templates they've been making back their cost more than once (3 times more saved than t-shirt), mostly because they get focussed a lot with the PK Nob (and most people underestimate the shootas). Secondly it's one turn that they need to weather fire on a 'ere we go +overwatch.
The stickbombs is mostly so my Boyz always get to go in on Init 2, and my PK Nob on init 1 (so he can stay 2+ inches away from the melee until init 2, so he CANNOT GET killed or challenged, until he does his Pile in). Not sure whether it's worth it but at

The lootas is a good idea I'll check for the scouting, that would suck. Not sure whether I'd scout the deffkoptas or keep the boss in... Haven't played with those yet. It's my answer to dreads and monstrous creatures.

Flyboss: I've been up against Tau or Eldar half the time, and if I count in Allies it's more like 3/4th of the times. It's needed for hoverers. And only 10 points. Also they've taken out ALL of the flyers I've ever taken down.

ok well thats pref i guess.
i think he cant scout but maybe its been FAQed or maybe they all have to have the scout rule
and flyboss is also pref for you 10pts is alot in my local meta as we dont see skimmers to much

before the game starts, can they still turn up using the Ambush special
rule? (p62)
A: Yes.

I didn't see anything on scout in the Ork FAQ.

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.

Main faq also didn't mention anything on scouting so it should still be conferred to the boss by him joining the unit. It's here that I read about this tactic.

Are you confident you could take on AV14 vehicles? You only have a couple of claws, something like a monilith could happily large template you until the claws arrive. (Poor example as the orks would tear through the crons to get at the monilith). Swapping the lobbas for cannons may help a little (don't like them!). Also lets you unlease nine armour busting shots a marine units.

Overall looks good.

I like this list actually, cept the sluggas and stikkbombs on the ard boys, might as well just give em shootas and if you get here we go wreck whatever infantry is in front of them. i like the kannons i just started testing out big guns the lobbas arent very good but im sure kannons may be more effective esp for high av vehicles. id outflank the deftcoptas personally. Other than that looks solid.

Lobbas are for Sniping Low T Characters..at that they are excellent. and do not require Line of Sight ..
Kannons are good general purpose and do require line of sight ..they can glance AV -14 ..and Pen everything else..Overall Its a pretty decent list ..Ard Boyz ..I like Ard Slugga boyz being trasported ..but Ard Shoota boyz on the March ..(Just so they can get stuck in) yea there is lots of AP-4 out there but ..not enough to stop a mob and if they are getting the focus fire then the Lootas and Shootas are not ..and that in and of itself makes the difference

i think looking over the warboss with the deffkoptas they can handle a mono on there own.
