Quick question.

If I have a Daemons/Dark Eldar army. Can I use Fateweaver's once per turn reroll to reroll the 2++ shadowfield save of my Dark Eldar?

And then, does the shadowfield stay after the reroll (assuming the reroll was successful)? There was some discussion of it here, and more people thought it would stay than didn't http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/463684.page

As far as I know if you re-roll the first roll is completely disregarded. I don't know the wording of fateweaver's ability so can't help there.

The wording on fateweaver is you're allowed to reroll a single d6 of your choice, nothing else. So it appears it'd work? This seemed pretty clear cut that this would all work to me, but I wanted to make sure others thought the same.

If it doesn't mention that you have to use it on a deamon/ a member of Kairos' detachment it would appear to work.
Keep in mind I still don't have the full picture.

Does it say friendly units?

No it doesn't say at all. Just says you can reroll a d6 once per turn.
