Alright, after the great advice I got here, I got done reformatting my army to include models I had already bought with having to not spend too much more with having to change things around and it came to this:

1500 pts-

HQ:
Coteaz (Will be attached to the henchman squad with divination)

Troops:
10 Terminators 5 hammers 5 halberds 2 psycannons psybolt
Henchmen: 2 Jokaero 3 Warrior Acolytes with plasma guns and power armor 3 servitors with multi-meltas

Fast Attack:
Stormraven twin-linked lascannon twinlined multi-melta

Heavy Support:
Dreadknight heavy psycannon nemesis greatsword

Where I am having problems is that I am still having trouble from deciding the following with either adding:

10 GKSS 1 hammer 2 psycannons psybolt

or

10 Purifiers 1 hammer 2 halberds 4 psycannons psybolt

Both these options have a dedicated transport of a Rhino with psybolt ammunition.

I can fit all that in but then when I try to add a vindicare assassin, I can't and it doesn't matter if I choose either the GKSS or the Purifiers because neither leaves enough to take the assassin. Some have suggested to take the henchman out to get the assassin but I don't want to do that because that would force me to take GKSS and I would prefer to take Purifiers if I can so for a 1500 point game, I was thinking of taking out the Stormraven because I don't feel that I would need it for such a small game to fit the vindicare in.

My 2000 point army follows this same formula except it adds in a second squad of 10 terminators with the same equipment as the previous terminators and I run into the same problem.

If its either the stormraven or assassin I would pick the stormraven every time. The Vindicare just screams first blood with one wound and no meat shields to guard it. Its a nice model it just isn't worth the points imo.

P.S. Purifiers are great but then again with points... it always depends on what armies you usually face.
Strike = anti-deep strike/good for general purpose
vs
Purifier = anit-horde/bad if no hordes to kill

1500 - never get where I'm going
2500 - roll more than binary
1000 - never bring enough bodies

I looked it up and the Vindicare has 2 wounds but in terms of defensive power the stormraven has more so yeah, the glass cannon isn't worth it when it comes to which one to choose.

And after you put it into the context with the GKSS and Purifiers, it would definitely seem that the GKSS would be the better option. I actually haven't battled to many horde enemies quite yet, mostly armored and hard to kill. I was doing fine with my old list but then someone I usually play who specialized in Dark Angels came at me with vehicles like he hadn't before. 2 land raiders and 2 whirlwinds just got me because my anti-vehicle was not the best so that is what caused the reformat in the first place. My purgation squad wasn't as good as I thought it would be...at least against land raiders. That's when I got the heavy anti-vehicle henchman squad and I gave lots more hammers on my terminators. I also thought my stormraven was going to be able to pull a lot of weight and sadly it didn't. That is another reason I wanted to finally attach a vindicare assasin.

What made me highly consider the Purifier squad is their Cleansing Flame ability and the fact that they can take more psycannons than GKSS which I thought would make them the more versatile ones.

After roaming these forums and others, I am finding that GKSS seems to be the bread and butter of GK.
