Just asbout finished up my first squad of plague bearers now done with mostly washes, it was a quick and easy paintjob but one that I feel came out quite well in the end, and doing the squad only took a night so I feel confident I can do another couple without feeling the need to paint something radically different.

They look brilliant for just washes - can you share how you did them?

I an effort to maintain a cohesive and nurgly theme but get some variety of models in the army I've been testing on some of the tzeentch models I had on hand,

I love how you mounted that disk! Have you done anything with the screamers yet?

Really nice work. I love nurgle stuff I do something similar with my plagues and it comes out almost as well.

The screamers are currently primed and midway through a wash, I also have 2 burning chariots primed from when they first came out, sadly the lackluster rules have killed my motivation there.

Thanks, I'm enjoying the difference between painting rot to my usual clean marines.

Can chance you can post a pic of how you mounted them on their base? I am planning on using the same kit for my screamer star.

Still mulling on that problem myself sorry, I've been using the large oval base to mount them on while painting, I have a feeling I may need to weight down the base when I rebase them just to account for the amount that they overhand the base.

I've just about finished up two of the heralds I have been working on for my force, first up is the Fly Lord of Nurgle who will count as a Tzeentch Herald, favoured of papa nurgle for his creativity in spreading plague, sickening sense of humour often taking longer to spread the plagues than other heralds but with delightful subtleties.

Next the Rotlord, the opposite of the Flylord with his plagues both pestilant and repellant in nature, obvious from the outset they are the blunt force to the Flylords subtleties, spreading in an unstoppable wave:

The Lord of the Flies, I see? Everything look very nice here, although I would like to point out that Tzeentch and Nurgle hate eachother just as Khorne and Slaanesh do. Just so you know.

I know about the Tzeentch/Nurgle rivallry however the urge to field both units on the field outweighed the fluff for me. Going forward I will be converting Nurgle representations of various units from the different gods in the Codex.

Fair enough (I have converted some "bloodlepers" for my WHFB-nurgle-army from pestigors).
