So, Im still new to warmachine So i might have this utterly wrong.
Backswing says the attacks are simultaneous. does this mean If i charge both are boosted or just one?

Just one.

Same thing occurs with thresher. You get a charge target (the one you
have to face) and then other targets.

Remove the tactical tip and replace the text of Backswing with:
Make a normal attack with this weapon. After resolving the
attack, make one additional attack with this weapon.
